For Our Community
You could say, and we often do, that traditional country pubs are plentiful (2 a penny) in this neck of the woods and offer similar food and drink. But are they all created equal - we think not! We try to be better everyday.
We love food and enjoy relaxing with friends and family over a meal - obviously with a few drinks included - a meal or drink out is about sharing time with friends and family, cementing relationships and building new ones - and what better place than in the local pub.
A roaring fire, the footie on the TV, a quiet corner whatever takes your fancy. Dine Out Club loyalty benefits, a Book Club for bibliophiles, Coffee Mornings and even a Quiz at The Bridge. Above all a warm welcome awaits you.
Deliver a great experience with excellent food and drink.
Build a community of kindness and escape.
Take great ingredients, do as little as possible with them and marry them with other ingredients that compliment and enhance their flavours - creating dishes that make you happy and perhaps surprise you a little.
Excellent Ales and Lagers are 1.01 for a pub and we definitely tick this box thanks to the legacy of my magnificent father in law who has ensured every member of the team know how to care for and serve amazing beer.
I love wine - but why can I only have cheaper wines by the glass and at a premium to the bottle price?
Why shouldn't I be able to enjoy a glass of Amerone, Merlot or Chateau Neuf while my wife enjoys a glass of Pinot Grigio, Sancere or Veuve? Well in our two pubs you can.
The second pub is The Bridge Inn and that is a little different but both are built on the same ethos - try and ensure that everyone of our guests leaves with fond memories. We love both whether breakfast lunch or dinner they each offer something different but both provide escape and a place to relax and socialise. We hope you come to love them too.
Hope to see you soon.
