Dear Guests & Friends,
Here we are at the so called “freedom day” - the 19th July 2021 and wanted to give you a brief update on how we are approaching the health & saftety procedures at The Devonshire Arms on this day and until further notice.
We have been closely following the guidance, reports and sentiments, while also living with the realities of growing case numbers and the high incidence of track and trace pings and isolations. On balance have determined what we consider is the best way forward.
As ever our utmost priority remains keeping our team and guests safe. In order to do so, we will continue to uphold all our current safety procedures, this despite the relaxations by the government as we beleive this is the only way to keep everyone safe and our pub open.
So I would like to highlight that we request that all our guests continue to:
Follow the government guidelines, especially when it comes to self-isolating and track & trace.
Sanitise hands on arrival And wait to be escorted safely to your table
Wear a mask when not seated at a table. Whilst the legal requirement to wear a mask has been lifted, we would be very grateful if you continue to wear your mask when entering and whenever you are not at your table. If you need to go to the toilet please pop your mask back on. You will notice that our team (unless exempt) will still be wearing their masks.
Please note that there will continue to be no service at the bar - all service inside will be table service.
We will not be adding anymore tables and the social distancing will continue to be in excess of government requirements, despite our desire to operate at full capacity we have to balance our pain of the past with our responsibilities to our team and guests.
Thank you for all your continued support, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01246 582551..
Take care and be kind,
